At age 7, Eric Lisardo started tinkering around on the family piano, trying to play random tunes he would hear his parents playing on the radio, but then at age 8, after seeing Star Wars, Eric walked over to the old upright piano and started playing the melody to the Star Wars Main Theme song. That is where his musical journey began. His parents immediately put him in piano lessons, which lasted just a year as he got bored learning the songs from the student piano book, but later, at age 11, he heard Van Halen, picked up his dad's guitar, and that's where is true love for music started.
Eric continued his musical journey in high school jazz band, first playing bass guitar, then moving on to guitar. He also played the bass guitar in the marching band, playing the tuba parts to "enhance" the tuba section. Later out of high school, and beyond, Eric was in several local Southern California bands; Zero Hour, Idyllwild, Millenium, Aspen, The Low Men, Fawkes, neverbroken, and cover bands including After Party, American Standard, and the Beach Boys cover band Surf's Up.
Today, Eric enjoys creating song parodies that have ended up on the radio station KFI AM 640 as bumpers for many show segments, primarily on "Later with Mo'Kelly" which is on from 7-10 PM weeknights. Check out the Music link above to hear many of the songs that are currently on KFI AM 640!
Eric is always working on original music, including revamping the neverbroken songs he and his friend Ryan wrote and recorded together. Check out the neverbroken link above to hear the old recordings from 2004.
